Beauty Notes

The main inspiration of the shoot were pastel colours, in the research of a fresh look accompanied by flowers that recall spring and summer.

IMAGE 1 Bouquet.
I decide to start with a fresh and clean look. Prep has been done with Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Acid emulsion sprayed over with Vanessa Megan rose water. I used a minimal quantity or RCMA foundation just were needed (eye contour and few blemishes) and a bit of Josie Maran Lip and Cheek colour stick applied with my fingertips for a natural rosy look.

IMAGE 2 Rose.
For this look I used in for the eyes pearlescent pigments from Make Up Forever and Aqua XL cream in M-82 on the brows, lips and a bit on the flowers too (as they were totally white and I wanted to recreate some pink shade on them too).

IMAGE 3 Rose close up:
I wanted to add a bit of texture so with a small fan brush I added little strokes of colour in the brows and lips.

IMAGE 4 Bouquet
I created a little shading in the eyes using M.A.C Cosmetics Paint pot in Painterly mixed with a bit of groundwork, applied with a M.A.C Cosmetics 217.

IMAGE 5 Dandelion.
This is probably my favourite of the series. I wanted to play with the contrast between Lilac and Yellow and I found some little dandelions in the grass just outside the photographer’s studio, they were perfect! I used Make Up For Ever Fard Gras for eyes and lips, because I wanted a more glossy look. Skin is made dewier using Shine by M.A.C Cosmetics applied on top of the cheekbones, chin and centre of the forehead.

IMAGE 6 Summer Close up
This look got that cheeky summer vibe. I absolutely love the new range of colours of MUFE Artist Rouge lipstick, super pigmented and ultra creamy. Number c602 was just the perfect summer shade!

IMAGE 7 Summer.
I do love playing with contrast, bold colours. For the brow bone shading I used MUFE Aqua xl Color Paint in Turquoise and Fard Gras in Yellow for eyelid and fingertips. Being a Summer look I added some texture to the hair with a bit of Sacha Juan Ocean Mist.
