Meet The Team
Trish Lee-Geosits
Creator/Publisher
Since creating LAUD in 2015 she has carefully guided its authentic brand essence from the ground up.
Trish’s fortuitous background as entrepreneur, hairdresser, make-up artist and IT expert sees her as a more than capable leader and she continues to inspire her amazing team.
Jarred Stedman
Art Director
From an eclectic background in brand management and social physiology, Jarred Stedman truly awakened the creative lurking within when he unexpectedly fell into his calling- photography and film. Throwing himself into it headfirst, he was voracious in his search for inspiration and continues to hone his skills alongside brands including Louis Vuitton, Marie Claire, Witchery and Wella. After more than a decade of shooting, Jarred’s film style is denoted by highly warped editing, emphasis on entertaining content and exploring the power of emotion driven music cuts. One of his most recent collaborations with hairdresser Kobi Bokshish resulted in the AHFA Fashion Video of the Year 2017 for their darkly mesmerising film “Enigma”- an awards platform, alongside Hair Expo and BIBA, for which he is consistently placed as a Finalist for his work. Constantly challenged by his fascination of ‘light play’ and shadow, his photography signature is high-end editorial with a distinctly Jarred twist and the perfect complement to LAUD’s diverse vision.
Lydia-Jane Saunders
Fashion Director
Inspired by growing up across both Sydney and London, Lydia launched her 15 year styling career following a degree in media and cultural studies. She honed her skills in the fashion cupboards of Marie Claire and InStyle Australia before making the most of her dual nationality with a freelance stint in London assisting notable stylists, including the illustrious Fashion Editor, Hilary Alexander. Back home she worked extensively, building up the little black book of any fashionista’s dreams with leading designers on speed dial. Her celebrity clients include Kimbra, Delta Goodrem, Megan Gale, Sarah Snook, Margaret Zhang, Jesinta Campbell and Jessica Marais. She is also an industry stalwart with corporate clients including Seed, Virgin, Qantas, Cotton On, Peter Alexander and Toyota as well as being the go to stylist for Hair Expo since 2015 plus work on Marie Claire, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar China, Karen, Koncierge, Pages Digital, Fashion Trends.
Becca Gilmartin
Beauty Director
Becca Gilmartin has been alongside Trish since the inception of LAUD and continues to infuse the publication with her distinctive talent. The full spectrum of her aesthetic stretches from natural beauty through to body illustration effortlessly, as evidenced by her ABIA’s 2014 Australian Make-Up Artist of the Year Award. Described as “Australia’s own Pat McGrath of intricate Body Art”, juggling constant demand for her multi-faceted skills sees her split her time between Australia and America, with her work on LAUD feeling like home to this constant jetsetter. Becca regularly works with Australia’s biggest celebrity names and is often busy backstage for projects including ‘The Voice’ and ‘X Factor’ Australia. Author of the sell-out books and accompanying educational tours ‘Makeup Artist Bootcamp’ and ‘We the Painted’ Becca is quite simply one of the country’s most in demand make-up artists.
Rachel Montgomery
Beauty Editor

Her work is truly global and has been published across Paris, New York, Los Angeles, London and Hong Kong and appeared in titles including Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, Cleo, Cosmopolitan and Oyster.
Chereine Waddell
Beauty Editor
With a reputation for genuine artistic originality delivered with inimitable personal quirk, Chereine Waddell was voted AHFA’s 2016 Make-Up Artist of the Year, being placed number one on the judge’s scorecard of none other than global industry icon Val Garland. Her background in fashion, fine arts and SFX helped drive her towards a makeup career, in which she now oscillates fluidly between commercial and creative editorial work. Her portfolio has appeared in titles including Elle China, Culture, Oyster, Peppermint, The Journal and Fashion Journal. She is also a Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Sydney aficionado from right back in 2009 and has also played a key role in productions including ‘The Lion King’ 2014 as well as working alongside colleague Becca Gilmartin for the first time on ‘X Factor’.
Sarh Laidlaw
Hair Director
When it comes to Sarah Laidlaw, it seems easier to list the things she hasn’t done, than the things she has. With one of the most enviable CV’s of any hair and make-up artist in the country, her 26-year body of work is testament to her trademark style of classic beauty with a contemporary edge. Awarded Australia’s prestigious Session Stylist of the Year title an impressive four times – Hair Expo in 2017, 2011 and 2010 and AHFA in 2014, she also took out the AHFA Makeup Artist of the Year title for 2017, making her the only artist to take out National awards in both hair and makeup. Sarah works fluidly across editorial, fashion, advertising, film, television and celebrity and she has worked collaboratively with the best photographers in the business. With Lenny Kravitz, Ladyhawke, Isla Fisher, Kelly Rowland, Ruby Rose and Pixie Lott in her portfolio and more magazine covers than most, Sarah’s strengths in both hair and makeup have cemented her as one of the most sought-after talents in the industry.
Richi Grisillo
Hair Editor
Richi Grisillo’s calling card is his perfect balance between creative vision and fundamental skill set that define him as an expert both in and out of the salon. His hairdressing career commenced at the flagship TONI&GUY Pitt Street Salon in 2005, where this self-proclaimed ‘day-dreamer’ was instantly taken with the energy of hairdressing. Now Salon Owner and Creative Director at ACADÈMIE SALON, Richi continues to throw himself into every opportunity with work on campaigns for brands including Wella and We Are Handsome as well as editorial for Culture, Madison, Shop Til You Drop, GQ Australia, InStyle, Harpers Bazaar, Marie Claire and L’Officiel.
